How Does An RD Calculator Work?

Our RD calculator works on the below formula:

M = R * [(1 + i)^n - 1] / (1 - (1 + i)^(-1/3))

Where,

M is the maturity amount you get
R is the monthly installment you pay in an RD
n is the number of quarters
i is the rate of interest divided by 400

Example:

Mr. Lakshit starts an RD account for an investment of ₹5000 per month for duration of 36 months. He will be earning an interest of 8.0% on his investment. Lakshit will earn a maturity amount of ₹2,03,858.
